The Ecodynamic Enterprise Label is an official and free recognition awarded within the Brussels-Capital Region to organisations that implement actions to reduce the impact of their activity on the environment. It promotes the eco-management measures taken by rewarding their environmental performance according to a three-level rating scale: one, two or three star(s).
The label is open to private, public, voluntary, commercial and non-commercial organisations from all sectors that have a place of business within the Brussels-Capital Region. Participation does not depend on the size of the organisation or the surface area of the site. The label is specific to each individual place of business operated by an organisation. Organisations with multiple sites can apply for a label for each of their sites.
The environmental measure adopted by a label applicant is evaluated by comparing the actions implemented by the applicant to reduce the impact of its activity on the environment with all the actions that the applicant could ideally implement and which are applicable to it.
To do this, the label uses an objective and transparent good practice benchmark, which is automatically personalised on the basis of the information provided by the applicant relating to its activities and the characteristics of its site.
All environmental themes are covered by the label: energy consumption, rational water use, waste prevention, the paperless office, sustainable mobility, soil pollution, noise, sustainable purchasing, biodiversity and green spaces.
Each application for the label is made via an online platform. We invite you to browse the label’s dedicated website which will provide you with all the information you need concerning the labelling process, the operation of the online platform and the evaluation criteria. You will also find a FAQ section (FR).
We also invite you to test the case file simulation tool (FR), to find out about the good practices you will be evaluated on in order to obtain the label.
Finally, information sessions (FR) in French and Dutch that are free and open to all are organised regularly.
If you have any questions about the label, do not hesitate to contact the helpdesk via the following email address info@ecodyn.brussels.
