Permits and partnerships
Brussels Environment issues environmental permits. These are the first step in operating an office or a commercial, industrial, or recreational activity. The environmental permit delimits the activity in such a way as to minimise its impact on the health and safety of the population and the environment.
Through its contracts and partnerships, Brussels Environment accompanies its institutional partners, such as municipalities, government departments, regional bodies, federal ministries and international commissions, towards more sustainable development and management.
To find all the information you need on the environmental permit, check out the full dossier on the Brussels Environment website (available in Dutch and French): Milieuvergunningsaanvraag (NL), Permis d’environnement (FR).
